The educational program of Science of Living or Jeevan Vigyan (in Hindi, Jeevan = Life & Vigyan = Science) is a non-profit educational and training program〔https://books.google.co.in/books?isbn=1598842048〕 that combines ancient concepts of yoga and meditation with a specific set of educational and physical activities. This is designed to complement and add an additional pillar to the traditional education systems. SOL is based on the 12 point broader definition of yoga called Dwadashanga Yoga and was conceptualized by Acharya Shri Mahapragya〔http://www.flipkart.com/author/acharya-mahapragya〕 in the 1980s in Ladnun, Rajasthan, India with the inspiration of Acharya Shri Tulsi.
